FINALLY we reached the last week of school and I was so excited! Maybe even more than the boys... They had Field day, picnics out on the play ground and programs BUT
I love the Dance Festival! Weston's class danced to The Yellow Rose of Texas doing a little line dance.
And Hyrum's class did the Mexican Hat dance. I must say, Hyrum's counting and rhythm was perfect. I think piano lessons are helping. :)
Weston also had his Teddy Bear picnic where we joined him and his class AND their bears at the park for lunch. This is Weston and his primary buddy Hagen.
This is/was Weston's best buddy Maxon who moved as soon as school ended. Darn it! Weston got to go to Maxon's birthday party right before school ended and it was a pretty awesome Star Wars party- they had light saber training in the dark with balloons, broke Hans Solo out of ice and drank Yoda Sodas... Fun!
Another highlight of the week was Madison's 6th grade graduation! Have you ever been to a 6th grade graduation where the kids do speaches? It was awesome. They gave us sage advice on how cheating on tests will get you fired from your first job and told stories about a guy who died when he got stuck in a car because of his bad attitude- so be positive people! and don't tell lies!
