Happy 10th!

10 years ago, Zach and I got married.
How's that for a statement?  I like it.
It's amazing how sometimes it feels SO long ago and SO much has happened since then, yet we don't feel any older.  How does that happen?
Anyway, since Zach will be in Kentucky over the official date of June 14th, we celebrated early by dropping the kids off at my mom's for the night and heading up to Salt Lake City.  We checked into the the Marriott and then walked over to the new City Creek mall to hit Cheesecake up for dinner and to look around the mall.
Favorite things?  The veggie burger at Cheesecake (it has BEETS in it!), the home decor store which has now inspired us to give our bedroom a makeover and these dancing waters:

I loved watching them go up, stop, change shape, and then splat down.  Gravity is cool.
Next morning we got up (not early) and did some sealings at the Salt Lake temple.  It makes me sad that we don't put as much time and effort into making things beautiful like they did in the old  days.  Every part of that temple is carved, painted, gilded, etc.  Amazing.  It was great doing sealings to remember our own (Sheldon F. Child, a former member of the 70 was our sealer) but it was almost more fun to see the 20 + couples who were actually getting married that day. Love it! The dresses, the pictures, the hair and flowers, the quiet whispers in the Celestial room, the nervous look of the groom, the excited families waiting outside... I love wedding and I loved getting married!
Just outside the temple, we stopped a guy to take our picture. Some how it didn't actually make it on to the SD card so it was lucky I took a couple myself... This is how we'll remember that day. :)
How lucky I am to be married to the right guy, that we did it in the right place and we're still just doing the right thing... Life is great!
Here's to 10 more years....
