So Weston graduated from Ocean school and has now moved on to FOOD school. He picks a food to go with each letter of the alphabet, writes the number of the day, the letter of the day and the food of the day in his school notebook and then draws a picture of that food. We then look up information about that food and write down the interesting things we find out. Usually we can find pictures and a little video about each food as well. THEN, we get to EaT the food!
A for avacado (fresh salsa)
B for banana (banana bread)
C for cauliflower (cheesy ham and cauliflower casserole)
This is Weston on D for donut day, making donuts of course!
We baked some and fried some, put frosting on some and sugar on others... D is a great letter!

This is great! Our Hyrum is 3 and I've been trying to get something going for him on top of what we do for our 5 year old...Any other preschool home ideas? Thanks for the posts!
I think I found another thing to copy cat you on :) Thanks!! I like that idea- Food school. We are doing joy school this year and as much as I like it, I'm thinking of doing school with just Casey next school year, like I did with Tyler before he started Kindergarten.
so fun Sharlee! I love what you do with Weston.
