After the Joy of Christmas time is over, JANUARY looms dark and dreary- snowy and cold with nothing to look forward to. Luckily, our good friends save us from this winter doom by inviting us to our traditional cabin stay in Duchesne. Three years, three times they've come to our rescue!
The kids braved the cold and took the sleds down the road- it was the only way to get to the house! The cars had to be left up on the road- makes you feel like you are REALLY in the middle of nowhere!
The boys slept in their sleeping bags, watched TV (a novelty for us!) played games, learned string tricks, and wore out their socks and pants sliding around the wooden floors...
One of our favorite things about the cabin is watching the sun rise in the mornings. It's always so beautiful!
