Today, I did the yuckiest thing I have done in a long time... I broke out the old high chair and gave it a good wipe down, and then I scrubbed it, and then I scrubbed it harder and then I sanitized with a million disinfectant wipes... The old thing had been sitting in our garage for almost two years collecting grime and dead moths, with old crusty food stuck under the chair pad. Ugh. It was nasty.
But, determined to save myself $40, I got it cleaned up and then determined the chair pad to be unsuitable for a cute CLEAN little girl to sit on, so I tossed it and made a new one- all by myself!
This is a close-er up of the star detail- just for kicks. I know, it's going to get dirty fast BUT it is entirely washable and now that I know it fits, I can make another one, or two, or three- maybe I should have one for each day?
Anyway, it's worth it for this baby girl!

Maybe I'm a mean mom, but when our pad got worn out, we got rid of it and decided the chair worked great with nothing on it. I didn't really want to deal with washing a pad over and over. You can just wipe it out. On the other hand, yours looks super cute!
We are kinda going for the dirty/no pad option but I'd love the pattern for that cute one!
