Happy Noon Year!

So, we found a way to celebrate the New Year with out keeping the kids up so late: The Noon Year's eve party! Turns out, the Riverwoods hosts Radio Disney for a party at 12 noon. It was quite the party! Weston was chosen for the very first game- pass the hula hoop-

and he won the Grand Prize, the movie, Holes!

Then it was Hyrum's turn to throw a hoop over a Radio Disney girl- and he won the grand prize too- The first Narnia movie (obviously a Disney party!)

They did dance-offs to Justin Bieber songs, won Toy Story puzzles, played Four Corners with Disney characters and won slinkies, hacky sacks, etc... At 12:00 they counted down and dropped balloons, ate cookies and drank sparkling cider. Perfect!

Even better, they had a Disney celebrity there, looking cool the whole time...

Too bad we didn't know who he was! Anyone know who Omar is?

That night, I actually got to celebrate for reals by going to the stake youth dance with Cindy. I was so excited to go to a dance because it's been so long and I remember them fondly... Turns out, it's not much fun to go as a leader- especially when Cindy goes to hang out with other girls. At least she had fun and found out that Utah kids are actually "normal." :)
