Sugar sugar!

Take a good look at this beautiful confectionery:

My friend brought this lovely pound-adding cake over one day and through the course of a week and some visitors, we ate the whole thing!
It was oh, so delicious
BUT
Zach and I decided to go on a no sugar diet- just a two week test- to see if we can do it.
Turns out, sugar is one of those super-addicting foods that your body LOVES to crave.
Can we do it?
Yesterday was day 1: Zach went to school and after his first class, one of his students from last semester dropped by with a Thank you card for all the help he had given her...
and a Lindt chocolate bar.
He called me, hoping I'd already fallen so he didn't have to withstand the temptation.
But he did!
Now on to day 2...

Good for you! I think we need to do that too, we have too much candy lingering from Christmas!

That's what happened to me when I decided to go off of sugar! Suddenly people came out of the woodworks to bring us treats. Good luck!

Wow! Way to go! Joseph's been pushing for this for a while now but alas, with me and the kids it is not working as well! That's nice to do a test period first...perhaps we'll have to do the baby steps, too!
