Can this tiny girl get any cuter? I just don't know- she is just a bundle of fun! She has such big bluish brown eyes, one tiny little tooth finally breaking through, tiny little feet that don't hold her up yet, thighs with a little chunky roll, squishy cheeks, and perfect little fingers that can pick up ANYthing off the floor. Those little fingers put little things in her mouth which she swallows;this includes cardboard, a water bead, the top off a crayon, and a brad-yikes!
Ani still has a toothless grin that just cracks me up- she does it to be silly. I love it!
She's got her long baby hairs, dark on the ends, lighter towards her head; that are long enough to put into little pigtails. I would trim her bangs BUT she has the Largey cowlick in the front of her forehead... bangs would stick straight up! I guess we'll stick with headbands and pulling it back for a bit.
This little Ani-girl is just so darn smart- she can sign more, all done, and drink. She can say 'uh uh!' for 'uh oh' and calls "Da!" when she sees Daddy. She also says 'uck' for "Yuck" and says "mamamama" when she is sad. She waves good bye, calls to the boys, shows her ears, teeth and belly button, folds her arms and bows her head and half of these things we didn't even teach her! She just picked it up all on her own. Ani hit 11 months and learned how to point, as well. Now she has an opinion on everything and if she points to something and doesn't get it? Watch out for a monster growl! Sacrament meeting was a scary place to be-she saw the boys passing around the bread and water but she wasn't getting it fast enough- growl! If I'm talking on the phone and she wants to play with it? Growl! If Afton is bothering her (yep, Afton can be a little hands on with Ani and she doesn't appreciate it) she has a different kind of annoyed yell. If she wants me to pick her up she does a fake cry and smiles as soon as I do. I think I'm in for drama with this little Princess Cupcake!
She's mastered climbing up the stairs and standing up to couches, Mommy's leg, chairs, and is almost standing on her own. She'll be walking before long! I'm thinking she's getting over the dairy intolerance- I've eaten yogurt, hidden dairy and even some cheese on pizza, and she hasn't had a problem. BUT, I think she still has the soy intolerance just as bad as ever. Twice I've had dinner that I think must have had soy sauce in it because the night was rough and she had mucus and even specks of blood. No good. We'll stay away from that for now. I'm still nursing her about 4 times a day(or night) and she LOVES to eat real food, so she definitely isn't starving.
We are just so happy to have this tiny girl and her funny laugh, funny faces, and squishy hugs in our family!
