Talk Like a Pirate Day

September 19th just happens to be "Talk Like a Pirate Day."   Not only is it "Talk Like a Pirate Day," it's a Krispy Kreme party day!    If you show up at a Krispy Kreme store and talk like a Pirate, they'll give you a free donut. BUT, if you show up at a Krispy Kreme store DRESSED like a pirate they give you a

 WHOLE DOZEN DONUTS.

So, the only question is, what will you do for a dozen Krispy Kremes?

Turns out, my kids will sacrifice dignity and sleep by waking up at 6:15 to dress like Pirates and run over to the store.

Was it worth it?  We were in and out of the store in 5 minutes- which was much better than the 2 1/2 hours others had to wait later in the day.  The kids didn't see anyone they knew- which made Hyrum feel better. And, they each got a dozen donuts and ate their fill for the next 4 days... Yep, it was worth it.
