One of my new favorite traditions for 'free things to do with the family' is Chalk the Block at the Riverwoods. Last year was awesome, this year was no less! Artists from all around sign up to draw pictures on the parking lot stalls and they are so Incredible! I can't imagine drawing such things on paper, let alone on rough bumpy asphalt... Take a peak!
Oh, these are NOT chalk- they're just my cute kids:)
This picture was a 3-D one. If you look closely, there is a slight line that divides the chalk on the ground from the chalk on the board that is standing up. Pretty amazing.
We happened to all be together for Grandpa's birthday when we decided to take a jaunt to the Chalk display, so I took advantage of the moment and snapped a picture. This is all of Dennis Largey's posterity!
Happy birthday!
