One of my favorite times of year, which actually only happens when the conditions are right, is when there is SO much run-off from the mountain snow melting that it over-flows into the Rock Canyon Bowl park and makes a little river through the grass. We've had some good times splashing in that water, trying to walk across it without our feet freezing off, playing charades with the WHOLE Largey family on a Sunday afternoon- using scripture stories having to do with water...
We took advantage of a warm day and went to play:
Why is it that kids don't care about the fact that the water is melted snow and will turn you into a popsicle in two seconds? Afton LOVED the water!

Even skinny, white little Weston didn't care about the cold

I love that Afton just loves this hat- she won't wear the fisherman style kind, as much as I put them on her- but she will wear this one all day. Great, already a fashionista!

This is Lydia and Weston just poppin' a squat in the middle of the river. Why not?
We had a little picnic with Kristi and Lydia and even Pa came to hang out with us for a while. The kids had a blast in the water, meanwhile, the adults all got sunburned- smart! Hurray for summer!
