A Day of Firsts!

Saturday was a day of Firsts for us- Afton rode in the backpack for the first time!

Weston hiked to the top of the Y all by himself for the first time!

We ate snacks when we got to the top.

And showed off our muscles!

I love the view!

After the hiking, we took a little rest and went ICE SKATING! A first for both boys...

Lydia and Lexi, Bryson, Kristi and Pa met us there.

The boys took a rest in the penalty box and if you look at Hyrum's face, you can see how he felt about ice skating. He did NOT like it...

Weston did an awesome job getting around with the little walkers. He would run run run, sliiiiide, and then fall. And then start over again!

Oh, Bryson- he was already a pro because he roller-blades around.

Lexi goes speeding past!

I was very proud of Hyrum for not giving up- even though he had such a hard time to start, he kept working and working at it until he could skate without the walker. The last couple times around, he just held my hand and we skated away. Good job, Hyrum!
