Family Field trip to... the Church History Museum

One day, we took a little trip with our cousins, Grace, Bella and Kenton, up to Salt Lake to go to the Church History museum. It's one of those things I remember doing with my cousins when I was little but we haven't taken the boys to yet.
Here's the kids!
One of the things I remembered from going when I was little was the Angel Moroni- I was glad it was still there! Hyrum was blown away to learn that the one on top of the temple is actually two feet taller than this one!
The kids took turns speaking in Conference- Hyrum is obviously discussing deep doctrine.
Weston is channeling his inner Pres. Hinckley. :)
They have a fabulous children's section now where we learned a little Folklorico and even got to try on the costumes! The girls could have spent all day there...
The girls, including Afton and I...
Afton loved this head piece and kept putting it on, then taking it off, then putting it on, and taking it off...
Liesel and Bella (sorry the pictures are so blurry)
Doing a little fishing
Afton loved the fishies!
Weston built a house out of giant blocks!
Hyrum studied the Golden plates
Afton and Kenton climbed all over the giant blocks

And the big kids built their own tower of Babel... Don't worry, it fell over right after the picture but the kids all still speak English just fine. :) Thanks for the field trip!
