Last week, before the swine flu scare, we went and hung out in Park City for the day. It was raining and perfect for wandering in the little shops on main street, looking at pictures in the galleries, eating at Cafe Rio, taking pictures of nature, and of course getting good deals at the outlets... here are some pictures of our outing:
We went to a little rock shop and took a picture with this old miner. The owner gave the boys their pick of a free rock, too!
Weston resting in front of a knick knack store.
Hyrum and Weston with the resident bear- umm, yeah, they are a little strange...
Mom's good deals from Children's Place: the hats, scarf and gloves all 49 cents each... They are also in Harry and David's getting yummy samples. Only in Park City!
After seeing all the pictures in the galleries we decided to try taking some of our own. :) The boys fell asleep in the car so Zach and I stopped where ever we thought there might be a good picture- this is Deer Creek in the rain.
This is up at Sundance- you can barely see the snowy mountains up behind the trees.
Me taking pictures of the flowers- I'm still learning how my camera works and how to get the best pictures possible... So far we aren't as good as the Scanlans but someday!
