This is the kids just starting out- notice, no scraped knees or red faces...
Hyrum snacking, about half way up- notice the city behind.
Hyrum and Zach on the top at the Y!
Kristi and her kids at the Y- Lydia made the trip in the traditional Smith backpack... I think I rode in that!
More funny things from the boys:
Weston: Mom, my window is all frogged up back here!
Hyrum: Hey Mom, I think they are grueling back here! (they were GRILLING)
Weston: Oooh, Mom, I don't want that for dinner. It's yucky. Mom: No, it's yummy. It has cheese, and sour cream, carrots, a little bit of soup... Weston: And a little bit of yucky...
Hyrum: How do you write finger? Mom: F. I. N... Hyrum: What? No, it starts with T.H. Mom: No it starts with F. Hyrum: It's Finger? I thought it was Thinger... (all this time, he's called them thingers!)
A conversation with Weston: Mommy: Weston, tell Daddy about the emu we saw. Weston: What emu? Mommy: The one we saw on the bike ride. Weston: What bike ride? Mommy: The one we took this morning. Remember, we saw the big bird? Weston: What big bird? Mommy: The big bird with the orange eyes and the long legs we saw on our bike ride this morning! Weston: Oh, the one with the feathers? Mommy: Yep, that would be it!
