Busy busy days and Grandparents!

This last week has been full of parties and fun! And it's mostly Madison's fault. :) Zach's neice flew into town Thursday night so Friday we went to Iggy's and then came back to our house for Zach's cookies and ice cream- yummy! Saturday was Madison's birthday and I got to make the cake for her Horsey party. I was very proud of it! Zach and Hyrum went with her to see Night at the Museum 2 while Weston helped me work on the cake. :)

This is Maddy with her cake. We played horse games like Pin the tail on the Pony, building towers with sugar cubes, Mustang round-up (kind of like an Easter egg hunt but with horses) Horse horse pony (instead of Duck duck goose), and kids had a lot of fun! Besides, we were in Nelson's Grove, our favorite park in Orem. Sunday we had church in the morning, dinner at Kristi's and then spent the rest of the night at Zach's parent's playing with all the cousins. Monday I got up and got all the big weeds out of my front yard so that HOPEfully I can get some top soil in soon and start planting grass and flowers and trees... someday soon!

Then Hyrum, Weston and I went to Grandma Norviel's for a delicious brunch with my cousins and to take flowers to all our family graves. Grandma is so good to help us remember our ancestors= who they were, what they did, how were are related. She helps Malachi's prophecy come to pass!

Then we went to the Scera pool for a little swim with Maddy and Grace and Liesel and Bella- yay for summer time! I got a punch pass to the Scera so we can go swimming lots this summer. We all love it! Then we BBQed at Zach's parents and while Hyrum was playing and Zach was chatting, Weston and I went down to Grammie's to visit my other grandparents for memorial day. I told them I was glad I didn't have to visit their graves because they are more fun still alive. Besides, they appreciate it more. :) I am very fortunate to still have all of my grandparents and even though all of my great-grandparents have passes away I still got to know most of them as well. I had 13 grandparents when I was born! Hyrum and Weston have 11 and it is so fun for them to be able to live by so many of them. They love to visit Grammie and Grandpa, sleep over at Grandma Norviel's house, get treats at Largey Grandma's, play games with Maama, fight swords with Pa, get their $2 bills from Grandpa Bob for their birthdays... they are so lucky! We love our Grandparents!
