We celebrated Grandma Largey's birthday with a Shopping Bonanza at Seth and Jade's new house- I wish I'd taken more pictures around the house just so you could see how nice it is... We started with some cake, cinnamon rolls and buttermilk pie upstairs in the fancy kitchen and then moved downstairs to the Theater room for the games and presents.
Jennie and Kobi put together a Family Feud style game using the top "Places You Might see Kris out Shopping" or "Things you would Find in the Cupboard of Temptations" or "Meals you may have for Sunday Dinner." It was great fun :). I had a little shopping bag full of groceries and on each item had a question to ask her like "What super power do you wish you had? (Flying)" "What sport would you play if you had your choice? (Football)" and "What did you play at Recess? (Football and swings)".
We love our Grandma! She is so generous: She always gives us groceries, fixes delicious meals (sometimes two separate meals so Kobi and I can have a dairy free version), buys cute clothes, shoes, and other things she finds that 'looks' like someone. She's also willing to babysit any time- even coming to your house if necessary. The kids love going to Grandma's house, though, because she lets them eat whatever they want and watch tv all night! :) Happy birthday!
