The next day was Wedding day! We met every one up at the Draper temple high on the hill for the sealing. And it was awesome. The best part was once the ceremony actually began, Robby didn't wait until the designated moment to say "Yes!" and the sealer had to start over again. Zach said, there was no anticipation in wondering if Robby would go through with it that way- everyone already knew his answer was yes!
Outside the temple, the kids waited in the waiting room in their awesome wedding garb- Afton and the other girls had their 'wedding dresses' on. Afton was So excited to wear her beautiful white dress!
The boys were not as excited by their clothes, but they looked handsome too. :)
But, nothing topped Robby and Lauren- their smiles and that dress, her hair, her shoes, her gloves... seriously classy!
Love it.
We paused a moment to take a family picture before the reception- we all had matching clothes... might as well! Don't I have a cute family?
While waiting for things to get rolling, these girls had a blast on the dance floor- Lexi, Afton and Aiden, Lauren's niece. We ate a lovely prime rib and asparagus, potato dinner in the Wheeler farm barn amidst Lauren's beautifully thought out decor. Everything was just perfect!
Wendy showed up to party with us, of course. :)
One of the best parts of the night was the Mother/Son dance with Mom and Robby swing dancing to "Momma's, don't let your babies grow up to be cowboys." Awesome.
We are so glad Robby found Lauren!
