Halloween: Take 1

The boys put their creativity to work and came up with some awesome pumpkins this year- course it was MY hands that did the work. :) Hyrum did work on his for a bit and Weston was the picture taker...

Weston's is a scared pumpkin with a spider on his face. :)
Hyrum's is a giant spider- which fit very well with our Trunk or Treat decor this year:
A giant spider web! The kids had to reach through the web to get their candy- some were brave and some, not so much. :)

Afton thought it was all good fun to hold a bucket and walk around collecting candy- who wouldn't?
This is her completed, much talked about Peacock costume- Well, much talked about by me, though you might not know it by the way Zach had no idea what she was supposed to be and told every one she was a gypsy girl. Really? I was proud of it, though- I made the tutu, headband and the necklace!
Hyrum, the wacky mad scientist who could never keep track of his costume- every time he went to put it on, SOMEthing was missing- the syringe pen, the test tube, the glasses, even the lab coat! (made from one of Zach's old white shirts, of course...) Maybe he was actually the Absent minded Professor. :)

You might remember this costume from previous years but previously Weston was a ninja. This year he was a Power Ranger Ninja. Obviously.
I didn't get a picture but I had a lovely disco outfit with some bell bottom jeans, a bright floral button up and a great fro wig- looked just like Jan Brady from the movie. Nice.
