Here's the adventure pack- including Jordan's 25lb backpack he brought full of books to read to make sure he got a good work out...

Jordan passed out under a tree on top of his back pack- yep, that was one heavy sucker and he got his workout!

Hyrum being weird as usual... We finally just turned around and headed home because we weren't sure how long the gully actually was, and because Jordan's backpack was getting too heavy for him, but it was kind of cool up there!
Next, we took another skating trip, the last of our skating passes used up... But, it was awesome to see how much the boys improved over the last couple weeks as we skated.

Weston started out using the walker the whole time, to doing his funky run-on-the-ice-and-fall trick, to skating around the whole rink 4 times without falling. He could even do it without holding a hand or anything! He was awesome!

Maddy developed her own skating technique devolved from using a scooter. She pushed with her right foot a couple times and then would slide for a while, then push some more and slide...

Hyrum started out NOT skating because his legs were like spaghetti every time he touched the ice. He'd try for a while, sit for a while, shed a tear or two and then get back out there and try again. On our third skating adventure, he got brave enough to actually put more weight onto his skates and stand up a little straighter and by our last outing he was skating all over the place! He went all the way around by himself, even going kind of fast. Go Hyrum!

This was Jordan's first skating attempt and for having no experience, he was very brave. He didn't mind falling and was trying tricks like jumping from the start!

Good job kiddos! I was proud of them!
