Little Anika is 8 months Old!

Oh this girl- the older she gets the more we love her!  She is a silly girl who loves to blow raspberries and squeal loud enough to bring the house down.  Ani loves a good party- the more people the better! And the louder the party gets, the louder she yells... Church is always great fun.:) Luckily, Maama still comes to tend her during Primary which saves me a whole lot of stress. Thank goodness for Maama!

 Things Ani likes: Rice cereal
                          Sweet potatoes
                         Broccoli
                          Squash
                          Bath time
                          Mommy's hair (so far, it's her comfort blanket-ouch!)
                          Anything plastic and noisy
                          Cats Dogs Horses Birds- animals that move. Jag is in big trouble when Ani begins crawling! It won't be long now...

Things Ani has learned in the last month:
                                                                                    Clapping! So darn cute.
                                                                                     Rolling around the room to get where she wants
                                                                                     Sitting with out falling over. Now she falls on                                                                                               purpose to reach something she wants- usually                                                                                             something she shouldn't have.
                                                                                    Throwing- anything I hand her goes right to the ground...on purpose. So we pick it up, and it goes down again.  The interesting thing is that she almost always throws with her left hand. Even when I give the object to her right hand- she switches it over to the left before throwing it...We may just have a lefty here-Zach is so proud.:)
Ani almost has kisses down and is so close to crawling- she just needs to do some push-ups to work on those bicep muscles to keep her head from tipping her over.
Things Ani does NOT like:Peaches- but we love watching her faces when I feed it to her!
                                       Pears- this is disturbing to me. She eats broccoli but not pears?! I just don't know.

                                       Her car seat-good thing we don't have a vacation planned this summer
                  Her little happy face is just one of my favorite things ever.  The other comment I get from random people literally every day is "Is she always this happy?" Huh, yep. She pretty much is as long as she eats well and sleeps well.  (So far, she has no teeth. Someday she might be NOT so happy when all her teeth are coming in at the same time. Yikes.)

I just love to squeeze this girl!
