My little Afton turned FOUR years old! It's crazy how time can fly by but I can't imagine life with out my Afton. Sometimes she drives me bonkers with her strong will but most of the time she is such a happy helper, loving, sweet little girl. But don't call her little- she doesn't like it. :)
Birthday morning, I had to actually wake Afton up at 8:30. What?! This girl is not a sleeper-inner so that was a little surprising- I had to sing Happy Birthday to her 3 times before she began to stir but as soon as I said, "Hey, do you want to open presents before Daddy leaves?" she jumped right up and was ready to party. Yay!
Daddy brought her a new horse from Kentucky- a Rainbow Dash!
I stayed up late finishing up the cake- a brown, chocolate castle cake ready for a ball.
Afton ate some crepes for breakfast and then played toys while we cleaned up. Then, we took her $5 birthday card from Geoffrey the Giraffe to ToysRUs for a little shopping spree- what does Afton pick? A Frozen umbrella! Couldn't have picked better myself:). Then Daddy took her and the boys over to the school to eat some pizza while Mommy finished party prep...
All ready for the party!
At 2:00 all the princesses began arriving in their Ball gown finery. They all looked so beautiful! We had two Belles, Ariel, Rapunzel, and Christine from Phantom of the Opera. They started out by decorating their masks with sequins and glitter glue then set them to the side to dry until the ball.
Then they made some bead necklaces and bracelets to accessorize their lovely dresses.
We ran outside in some stormy cold weather for a quick photo shoot:

Then, the tea party commenced-Lexi and Weston were my helpful servants:).
We finished up with the ball! All the mysterious Princesses in their masks danced the rest of the party away.
A short time later, we met Maama, Pa, Kristi's family and Grandma and Grandpa Norviel at The Spaghetti Factory for some noodles and white sauce and then did presents and ice cream back at the house.
What a lucky girl she is!

Dislikes: Casseroles, squash, scary movies, watermelon, being called 'little', brothers that bug, taking naps.
Talents: Being a beautiful Princess, dancing, making up songs and stories
