So I haven't bought a Bountiful Basket for weeks. I haven't hardly cooked with meat in weeks. My grocery bill is down dramatically (well, it would be if prices weren't going up...). Are we on a diet? Definitely not! It's called Harvest Time! Our garden is producing a bounty of veggies and we have even been eating peaches, strawberries, blackberries and apples from our yard. Fabulous!
One of our favorites is the homemade tomato soup which is a great way to use up your extra tomatoes. Zucchini bread, casserole, stuffed zucchini, veggie stir fry- it's all delicious.
One day, I got ambitious and made this:
Peach Pecan Tart
One Giant Chicken and rice pot pie full of every veggie from the garden (I thought about adding some beets but decided the pink wouldn't look so great...)

And, a delectable black berry pie. It only has 3/4 a cup of sugar in it and it is oh, so yummy.

Add some homemade blackberry ice cream with the warm pie and you get HEAVEN!
