Camping time!

For once in my life, I actually got to go camping! Seriously, it has been a long time since I actually got to sleep in a tent, cook over a fire, hike around... It was a blast- even if Afton didn't sleep so well. We went up Mapleton canyon with Mom, Dad, Robby, Cindy and Kristi's family for Kristi's birthday celebration. Of course, the first thing the boys do is play in the river and get their shoes soaked. Nice. (Weston even wore his brand new white SCHOOL shoes, Bah!)

But it was fun!

Weston and Lydia got silly.

So did Hyrum and Bryson- course, when are they NOT silly?

Afton was best buds with Lexi- she loved to chase her around. She also loved to play in the dirt (best part of camping, yeah?)

After dinner, we got jams on and sat around the fire. THAT's the best part of camping!

Especially when the guitar gets pulled out and we can sing along- a little John Denver, a little Taylor Swift, even some Carly Simon... :)

My little snuggle bug... Next time she'll sleep, right? Then it would be even more fun!
