Here's Weston's spiffy do!
You might think Hyrum's is still long- but you should remember what it looked like before! It looks good when it's combed...
This was a traumatic experience for everyone- Jag was hurt and MAD, and Zach and Robby both got scratched up. He's finally forgiven us and has started purring again, even though his foot is still hurt. Poor kitty!
Along with haircuts, we managed to go to at least 5 parks this week- that's what happens when the weather is warm! We played tennis at the Riverwoods park, which was great until we realized ALL of our keys were locked in the car... Luckily we have nice friends who picked up me and the boys and connections to a nice locksmith, my grandpa, who came to save us!

Weston at the park by the River!
Saturday morning was supposed to be the Scout-o-rama at the Scera park. We got there and there was no Scout'o'rama but the park was still there! So we played...
Then we headed up to Park City which obviously has fun parks- why else would it be called that? Here's Daddy and Hyrum climbing like Spiders!
In between Park hopping, I got in a little baby shopping- the REAL reason for going to Park City, just don't tell the boys that! See the cute little outfits and onsies? Now I'm ready for a girl!
The last parks we played at were both at our good friends, the Morris's, new house. So here's a funny story: Morris's were our foodie friends we had dinner with every Friday for a year- until they moved to Taiwan to teach English. They shared all their best recipes with us and introduced us to REAL Asian cooking. Scott was Zach's best buddy at BYU; in graduate school, in teaching, in working out together. Anyway, we were sad when they left! So, they've been gone for a year and just barely made it back to the states a week or two ago BUT they moved to Layton so we hadn't seen them yet. We'd been planning our Park City trip all week and everyday Zach said "We should call the Morris's and see if we can go see them" but of course he never did. But on Saturday, Zach's morning horoscope said "send an e-mail or call to re-connect with an old friend" so of course, Zach had to follow it! He sent them an e-mail and five minutes later they called because they just happened to be on-line at the same time... Oh, great- this just encourages Zach's belief in Horoscopes... :)
BUT, it was fun to see the Morris's. The boys and their girls played and played and we talked and talked: here's to horoscopes and re-connecting with old friends!
