Tomorrow, Hyrum is VIP for his class so we made bird's nests out of chinese noodles and marshmallows and put jelly beans in for eggs for a treat. The whole family gets to go talk about Hyrum, read his favorite story (The Bike Lesson- Berenstien Bears. It makes him laugh and laugh!) and then give out treats... it'll be a Hyrum party! His class even sings the VIP song to him. :)
This is Hyrum and his latest project... he would wake up early every morning and start working on it and as soon as he was home from school he would run to his room and work on it some more until he finally finished the whole truck! K'nex are tricky little things but he followed all the instructions and did it himself... he is a VIP, for sure!
Friday is Hyrum's Easter party at school, Saturday the Easter bunny comes to our house, Sunday is the real Easter day when we can go to church and focus on the Saviour, and then Monday we are packing up in Kristi's van and heading to Roswell! I am so excited to go home- I even get to go to an international police academy graduation with my dad... who else gets to do that? Sadly, we have to leave the daddys home to work so it's a good thing we have a kitty to keep Zach from being too lonely. :)
We had a lovely visit from Wendy who came up from AZ with four girls in a Beetle just to visit us and watch Conference- yep, she likes us! We had a delightful birthday party for her and ate lots of good food in her honor- Thai food complete with egg rolls, chicken satay, stir fry veggies and noodles and mango sticky rice with coconut cream; crepes with any filling desirable; conference chili and chocolate chip cookies; chicken salad and sweet rolls; and of course, a big chocolate cake for her birthday. Hopefully that will be enough good food to tide her over until she comes to LIVE with us this summer! I am so excited for that too- Robby and Wendy are both coming to live in our basement this summer so it will be a party every night with these two!
PS. To all you gullible folk... no, none of the last paragraph of the last entry was true...April Fools, again!

Sorry I missed out on the egg hunt! I was a little out of it when you called to invite me anyhow...I was at the post office and asked to come up to the counter (after the long wait in line). But then I had a busy day yesterday and wasn't able to come. Please forgive me. :)
It was a lot of fun to have the kids be so honest with their responses. Go for it!! Have fun having your sis and brother living with you!!! Sounds great! Free babysitters!! Yeah! Tell your family hi for me!!
