This guy right here has been the Young Men's president for the last 3ish years. Welp, not any more. It's kind of a crazy story though... He got released from YMs and put in the nursery with me (yay! we actually get to see each other on Sunday!) but only for a week before he got a call. A phone call. From the stake. He insisted it was for me but, no, it was definitely for him. They asked him to be the Stake YMs secretary. That pretty much sounds like a party to me- fun activities, Youth Conference, visiting wards, etc. But, it was not to be. Nope, later the next week they sent Zach a text that said "Actually, we might put you some where else instead. Hold on." So, we waited... for another two weeks until they called both of us into the stake office... He was released from YMs and offered a calling in the High Council instead. Yep, High Councilman Largey :). They told him, they need him for his opinion and he is over the YMs and scouting program. I sure am proud of that guy... and he always looks spiffy in a suit!
Also, we have some friends! I know, that seems silly, but all our friends move away and leave us lonely (thanks, Turleys!) But, Zach's presidency in the YMs all became close buddies and they liked doing sushi nights together. Since they got released, we had sushi night and the wives got to tag along too- it was quite the party! We congregated at Felix's and piled into their large and spacious van then traveled up to Salt Lake to hit up Zach's favorite sushi place, Takashi. We were all adventurous and tried new things and had a lot of fun doing it!
