Littlest Anika

My tiny little Ani-girl is just growing up so fast!  Here are some great pictures to show her growing personality: 

And her growing hair! It's getting longer, though not much thicker. But at least she'll let me fix it sometimes:).

She has a cheesy smile all right- don't you just want to squeeze her?  She is so sweet most of the time and ALWAYS says "tant you Mom" (thank you, Mom) every time I give her some thing.  I love that little voice!

Ani loves to see the temple!  When she wears her Manti family reunion shirt, she likes to show everyone the temple on her shirt!  Every night when I tuck her in bed she says "bumple?" (temple) so we sing the temple song.  And then she says "Sine star?" And we sing the "I am like a star shining brightly" song.  Then she says "Night, Mom."  Ani also is the first to see the temple when we are driving in the car and always points it out- "Bumple!" 

Ani likes to eat- cheese, pizza, peaches, apples, cookies, cheese, carrots, noodles (noonles), chips (bips), grapes... sometimes when everyone else is done eating and out playing in the yard or pool at Grandma days, Ani is still sitting there, just eating away.

Ani is FINALLY getting some more teeth! She got six at 11 months and then about 13 months she grew the four molars in... and then nothing.  Now at 21 months, she has the two side teeth on the bottom- yay! Sadly, she followed Hyrum's footsteps and has a lovely underbite. If only she would suck her thumb or a binky...but not really. :)

Little Ani loves her siblings!  Afton is her little mom who helps her with everything and in turn, Ani copies everything Afton does and says- in exactly the same tone of voice. It's pretty hilarious.  She loves jumping on Hyrum and all day I hear her "Hymum! Mear!" (Hyrum, come here!)  The other day, I was mopping the floor and Ani needed a diaper change so I asked Hyrum to do it. He got it off but then she was running all around and NOT holding still... finally Hyrum gave up and went downstairs. A minute later I looked in the living room to find Ani laying on her blanket putting the diaper on herself. What a stinker!   She loves to tease Weston and finally learned to say his name (Nenon!) She hugs him, sits on him, reads stories with him... so fun!

Oh, this little girl!  She is so cute and girly- she loves playing babies, dressing up and wearing Afton's shoes.

We love that Ani!
