The End of School Times

Here we are at the end of spring and the end of school for a couple months- Hooray!
I love it when the kids are out of school and we can do our own thing, have our own schedule and just play. But, before that happens, we have to finish up the school year with Field Day (I ran the jump rope station), Dance Festival, Author's fair and other fun things.  This year, the boys school is being torn down so they had to help move all of the books and chairs from their old class rooms into the teachers new rooms. The new school was built adjacent to the old, only sharing the gym.  This week they are going to tear it down. Crazy!
Anyway, here are the pictures for the last little bit:

Dance Festival! Weston danced to the Scoot Scat Groove.

Hyrum did the Virginia Reel with Sariah

The kids had art class with Aunt Cindy and had a mini chalk festival- Hyrum 's is a tiger on a UFO, obviously.

Weston drew one awesome scary Shark!
We read Wrinkle in Time during the month of May and May 30th, the last day of school, Maama took the boys to BYU to see the play. This is them with Mrs. Who and Calvin.

After finishing Wrinkle in Time, we sped through Holes- cause it's such an awesome book.  Daddy was gone for Youth Conference May 31st, so we spent an hour and a half finishing the book just so we could watch the movie.  Then, we had a Holes dance party to "Dig It." Yep, it was awesome.
Now let the summer begin!
