Afton (and I) decided a Belle Tea Party would be a fun thing to do to celebrate a 3rd birthday- especially because ALL the girl cousins have Belle dresses! Perfect! So, we made baby cupcakes,
decorated two little tables for a feast, found tea sets for each girl and red roses for decoration, of course.
I 'hired' Grace and Lexi s to be our waitresses for the event- they were fabulous!
The table was set for a tea party- including toppings for mac and cheese, Afton's pick for the meal!
As all the girls arrived, in their lovely dresses, they colored Belle pictures and then went on a search for those pesky tea sets who had disappeared. That's the problem with live dishes...
Once the dishes were found, they found their seats for lunch with Afton at the head of the table. We had Lydia, Liesel, Bella, Jessica and Eva there to celebrate.
Afton was quite pleased with her lunch and the food she picked out matched the decor as well! Lexi and Grace served the toppings and milk with chocolate Quik (one spoon or two?) to stir into the milk.
After the lunch, we opened presents and Afton was SO spoiled and so pleased with all the lovely girly things the cousins brought.
We sang a little happy birthday and blew out a candle in the mini cakes...
and had a dance party until the mom's came. We love having so many fun girls around to party with! Not only that, BUT, Kristi picked up the boys and took them to Costco for lunch and to a park to play so I didn't even have to worry about those crazy guys hanging around. She is awesome like that.
