Have I ever said how much I love my little Afton? Well, I'm saying now and I'll probably say it again. I love this little girl! Look at those little pigtails- darling, right? She is so fun to just have around all the time. Really. You can ask any of the boys and they'll agree...
Well, maybe Weston won't say she's fun ALL the time because sometimes she takes his blankie and won't give it back, or sometimes she sneaks into his candy (which is never actually put away so who can blame her?) and sometimes she kicks him off Mommy's lap so she can sit there instead. All trials of being a middle child, I guess.
But, other than that, Afton is pure fun.
Even when she scribbles little pictures on the floor, the wall, the shelf, the book, the filing cabinet, the phone charge, etc, at least she runs to help clean them up! And, even though she makes a mess of her toys (in every room of the house!), at least she helps me with my chores like dishes and laundry. She tells me when she needs a diaper change and gets the diaper and wipes out for me. She gets her shoes and coat when it's time to go. She certainly obeys faster than the boys do!
On top of that, she is just getting cuter and more enjoyable. For example, Justin Beiber's "Baby" song was playing and I could hear Afton singing right along "baba, baba, baba, OH!" That night, we're driving around in the car and Daddy is singing crazy songs about everyone. Suddenly, Afton is singing "Daddy, Daddy, OH!" Changing the words to songs already?
She dances, she feeds her babies, she tries on all the shoes in her drawer, she chases the boysand tackles them too, she has her daddy wrapped around her little finger, of course, and she is our favorite girl!
