The Latest Largey Adventure!

We decided we didn't want to be bored on Martin Luther King day so we scheduled an adventure with our friends, the Turleys. We packed up the car, picked up Turley's and headed up North to Logan, UT! First stop there was the Gossner Cheese factory where we sampled flavored milks, cheese dips and of course, SQUEAKY CHEESE!

Hyrum's favorite part of the trip was snacking on all the cheese he could eat and all the cookies and cream milk he could drink! :)

Next stop was the Willow park zoo where it was cold but the animals were out in the weather so we got to see eagles, bobcats, coyotes, elk, lots of different birds, ducks and peacocks, even porcipines and wallabyes!

This is the boy's impression of a crane. :)

For lunch we stopped at the Blue Bird cafe and candy shop- it was delicious! I recommend it for the food and the atmosphere!

Here's the family at the Logan temple- it was closed for cleaning but it is one beautiful building.

Weston, Hyrum, Josiah and Avery- silly kids, great travellers!

We decided it was worth the short drive up to Preston to see the Napoleon Dynamite sites... This street has the Cuttin' Corral, King's (where they buy chips and Markers with Uncle Rico) and the DI where he finds his suit...Sweet.

Oh, it's Pedro's house all right! Anyone want to go over some sweet jumps on a bike?

And Napoleon's very own house- it really is out in the country with nothing around except fields. Of course we had to go home and watch the movie again to see all the places we visited- now we can say "Hey, I've been there!" :)

That's SWEET! Sounds like a fun day! I miss going to Logan- my brothers used to live up there. I loved getting squeaky cheese, too!

I didn't realize how long it has been since I checked your blog. Your trip looked like fun. I am so excited to see you in June. Too bad I'll miss meeting #3 unless he/she comes early. :)
