Gung Hey Fat Choy!

This means Best wishes and Congratulations. Have a prosperous and good year. and you say it for Chinese New Year. OR, it's Gong Hay Fat Choi- It seems that everyone spells it differently... Anyway, we needed something to look forward to, to help us get through January so Chinese New Year on the last day of the month was perfect.  We made Chinese lanterns, painted the symbol for the Year of the Horse, and made paper dragons. Then we had some fried rice and pork dumplings to finish it off.

Happy New Year!

We celebrate Chinese New Year every year at our house too, just for fun. Hope 2014 is a good one for your family.
