Baby Time!

So I haven't had time to write out the whole saga of baby number three BUT I did want to at least post some pictures so you can see what this cute girl looks like! Wednesday night- with one day to go before Zach got home (he was grading AP English tests in Kentucky, and yes, it's my fault. I told him to go and that we could wait for him...:)- I went to bed with contractions, like usual, just ready to sleep them off. BUT, I woke up at midnight with the contractions stronger than before. Oh, great. So, I woke up my mom who luckily came up early, and we headed down to the hospital leaving Robby and Cindy in charge at home. Thank goodness for family! I checked in to the hospital at 1:30, already at six centimeters and two and a half hours later- withOUT the doctor (she didn't make it in time and we had to call in the on-call dr.)
our sweet Afton Asenath Largey was born! She weighed in at 7 lbs 3 oz, 20 inches long, perfect and healthy!

This is her with my mom just after being born- my help and her namesake!

This is her mug shot :) Isn't she so cute already?

Her first bow- already a girl!

Maama and Afton on the first day of life!

Of course the boys were so excited to see her and Hyrum just couldn't wait to hold her- he is such a good big brother already...
Zach was able to make it home on an earlier flight and surprised us in the hospital and boy, were we glad to see him!
Now we are home and loving our sweet Afton! Surely, more pictures are to come...

She's such a cutie. Glad the delivery went well. Your mom is a great lady and little Afton is lucky to have such a wonderful grandma and namesake. Glad Zach was able to get an earlier flight.

Congratulations!!! Love the name, and the fact that you get such a kick out of putting bows on her. I bet its fun to have a girl. I feel the same way about having a boy. Congrats, again!

Wow! Congratulations! I am so glad she waited until your mom came, I seriously was very concerned I would be driving you to the hospital and helping out! Of course, you know I would do it in a heart beat, especially if you would have named her after me! :) I LOVE her name and she is a doll! I wish I could have seen her in person. Sorry I didn't write earlier. Talk to you later!
